You guys complaining about the vocoder gotta remember context. This came out in 1993, shortly after the eighties when vocoder was born and probably at it's most prevalent in music. We've of course since learned how to take a lot of the cheese out of it, but, contextually, vocoder was still relatively new and amazing when this album came out. I know it's cheesy, but you can overlook it to enjoy the music. It was an artistic decision made without the benefit of hindsight.

I had this back in the day. I thought the music was awesome but the computerized voices turned me off. First time listening to this for who knows how long and I still feel the same. Shame

@zach eldredge Nah, Masvidal and Reinhart (?) both were involved and wrote Human with Chuck. They left after touring for said CD, even though Chuck pleaded for them to stay, because pauls song writing and seans drumming are incomparable
