Brilliant stuff from a great song writer and singer. From 1981, part of a two-day event in front of a home-town crowd in Santa Barbara. This song, of course, the theme from the movie 'Caddyshack'.

Wiki tells me Kenny wrote this song on his own...I find it hard to believe, but nothing tells me other. Im gonna have to say Kenny along with the other songs is without a doubt one of the most amazing american song writers ever. Truly remarkable.

The background vox are on a DAT tape. His musicians are just lip synching like they're backing him up. It's the same backing vox tracks from the original recording.

Happy Birthday, #kennyloggins . The 1980's soundtrack king who provided notable tracks to films such as #topgun , #caddyshack and #footloose is 67 today.

"I'm Alright" is a song by American pop singer Kenny Loggins. Written by Loggins himself, the song was used in the beginning and the end in the 1980 comedy film Caddyshack. Released as a single in 1980, the song has reached the top 10 of the U.S. singles chart. Eddie Money makes a guest appearance in the song's background chorus.[1] The song is also one of the most frequent choices in Loggins' concert, and included in all three of his official concert material releases - Kenny Loggins Alive, Live from Grand Canyon, and Outside: From the Redwoods.
