From 2001, Jethro Tull in concert. If you're not familiar with Ian Anderson's talent with the flute, have a listen to the Master.

The live version of a song isn't going to sound like the studio version.

70s and 80s Tull was incredible live. Poor Ian really is losing his voice around this time, no power left there

Is it me? or do all the Drummer's suck live but me? LOL don't comment unless you drum. Ive been playing drums all my life 48 year old. and every live show I see the drummer come no where near to playing the song like it was recorded. I play this song just as it was on the album. It's like there scared or something. some of the drummers with big bands are so hittous I'd be ashamed of releasing it if I was the artist...not saying this guy did a bad job but I pay close attention to every musical instrument .Hummm just my opinion

Having seen Tull in the early 70's, I'd say they were one of the finest stage acts around at that time. My other favourite would be Gabriel's Genesis.

For god's sake this is slow, not even close to the previous time song. What happened to Ian? My only frigin explanation is: 5 teeth out, and then he sung this monstrosity. Shame on you, boss. Pity that other people don't know real Cross Eyed Mary.

Saw them in '88, '93 and '96 at Columbia, MD and '97 and '99 in Baltimore. Yes I was drinking but I think they only played this once out of all these shows. They played Nothing is easy every time???
