Kind of a humorous tidbit of useless information. The first Loggins and Messina album was just supposed to be Kenny's first Album. Jim had quite a bit of experience. He had been in Poco and before that, Buffalo Springfield with Stephen Stills and Neil Young. Well the album was going to be Kenny Loggins/ with Jim Messina sitting in. After they cut the album they decided it was so good that they would team up. Sad Jim kind of got forgotten through time. I was told by a friend who knows him and told me this story, that apparently he just wasn't into the road thing and hung around doing sessions and producing. As far as I know he played with a lot of big name people but I never heard of him with another band.

That looks like a dream concert ... and I know it was a dream time .... 1981 .. I was 31 ... super cool times .. fantastic song. I don't mind being 63 now ... it was worth it to have been around back then. What a nice crowd at that Santa Barbara concert.
