Been giving this VH3 stuff a chance (after refusing to give it the time of day back then) and you know what, some of this stuff is actually VERY GOOD. This song, From Afar, Fire in the Hole, Josephina - great stuff. Also, the sound on the cassette (sounds weird I know) actually has a better sound - anybody have opinions on this?

Fans were so quick to judge and discredit Cherone's ability with VH on the basis of one sole, underrated album. Typically, VH fans hold their expectations to a high standard,..and given Ed's guitar wizardry...that's certainly understandable......but today, I think ADKOT would sound much better if Cherone sang on it than Roth's strained vocals.

For all its faults (and I actually like the album), how can anyone not find themselves belting out "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYE just can't get along without'chu" after listening to this? I don't consider VH3 a flop. More like, just something different in VH's discography. It's not like that hadn't put out 10 classic albums before it.

I really don't understand how anyone could think this album is good.. This is my least favorite album of all time..eddies guitar tone was muddy and sucked.. His solos weren't that good either and the songs were all over the place and way to long..Gary's voice is dreadful and the backing vocals were terrible as well.. i give this album 1 star
