Having written the original back in 1962, I'm proud of all its grandchildren.

Going to see the ISB at the old Glasgow Concert Hall was a big deal.Everybody dressed up for the gig, it was a really happy time but sadly didnt last too long.Great performers.Saw reformed band a few years ago in Queens Hall Edinburgh,Nottingham and Telfers Lock Chester.,Still fun.

I love the string band, and particularly in this incarnation, but somehow I think that they were all stoned off their crusts during this taping, especially Licky and Rose. I wonder what they would say about this recording now? By their fantastically high standards, this is a freespirited mess exuding bags of talent and skill but with almost no control or restraint. Still, I was there when......

i LOVE IT! I hate music that is "too perfect" and slick with violins backing it up in a recording studio. You'll never, ever, have to worry about hearing this in an elevator, or "on hold" on the phone from a business call. It's so original and honest. And the attitudes and demeanor of the musicians is so laid back and care-free. Live music like this should rule!

I thought the guitar work was a little laboured.
