Thanks Brit, you just ruined for me. Obviously this tune was apprehended by the Flying Circus. I love Monty Python but don't confuse a treatise composed 100 years ago by the great Susa with some contemporary TV show. Jesus, get some semblance of history freak show.

I'm pretty sad to find that most people connect this song to Monty Python rather than where Monty Python got it from.

Dear Sir,I wish to complain in the strongest possible terms about the video which you have just posted on YouTube. It is clearly an insult to all Monty Python fans in existence, as it is portraying an American military band stealing an entirely original British song dedicated to all things silly, and misusing it to support their own jingoist agenda. Many of my friends are Monty Python fans who wish to see that justice be done to correct this egregious breach of copyright laws. Also, not enough people today wear hats.Yours etc.,Brigadier Sir Charles Arthur Strong (Ms.)P.S. I have never kissed the editor of the Radio Times.P.P.S. Mr. Neutron has gone missing.P.P.P.S.
