This video was recorded for the National Museum of the Marine Corps gallery titled "A Global Expeditionary Force 1866-1916," where visitors will find an interactive Marine Band exhibit.

Awesome and my most favorite piece of patriotic music. The Boston Pops also do a fantastic orchestra verion every year at their annual July 4th concert on the Esplanade.

Aside from the director (a colonel), I see no rank insignia that I can identify on any of the members of this wonderful collection of musicians. Is it just that they don't wear rank insignia when performing?

True story, before I commissioned, I was in the AZNG band and we had a previous Active Marine Corps bands person come and audition, and we did play stars and strips forever, just to test her, and she blew it away; she is and always will be one of my all time favorite flutists
