I saw the originals at the Ritz in Corpus Christi in about '75. I had the A Step Further and Looking In vinyls and it was great to see them but the set list was a bunch of new stuff and we had to pound on the stage screaming "BOOGIE" to get them to play anything we recognized.

brian, I was looking at history of Savoy Brown playing in Detroit. Couldn't find anything on it. Then it occurred to my dumbass that on the A Step Further album has a live set where Chris Youlden says We like to that all these people in Detroit.

One of the best rock horn blows ever! - Bill Chase's band, CHASE, used to BLOW the roof off of the old Pussy Cat A' GoGo in Vegas back in the day with a long version of this.

Around 1970 I was lucky enough to have a neighbor that was really well versed in all of the great British bands as well as the R&B and soul bands before them.....and as they say...after listening a couple of times.....the rest was history. Taste and Try before you buy....lol

Thanks everybody for the positive comments (not that I'm with the band or anything). Having fun in the making is always the test for music, and these guys spelled fun F.U.N.
