Imagine seeing these guys open for Deep Purple at the Providence civic center.I had only tried the spike once but this song and Signed DC by Arthur lee and love came in handy as I did'nt take heed to storm warnings.Over 4 yrs clean,no biggie just saying, its not heroin anymore, takes 25 matches and 1 gallon of water with 5 cottons. These kids are clueless, they all look in the mirror to see if there eyes are pinned.stay away the informant rules the beat bag kingdom

Sometimes the best songs are about the worst experiences. This is such a song.

I always find posts regarding hard drug abuse somewhat amusing in this day and age...awful lot of peeps talking and few saying much...there was and is nothing glam about addiction and though this tune sounds like it's promoting it initially Youlden makes it pretty clear in that last verse what he's saying...you may get in with a free pass but you ain't getting out...ever

This is a very true song written about heroin. One of my best friends died about five years ago while on methadone. He told me he lost all his teeth when they put him on methadone. He went in the USMC in 1973 three months before me. We both ended up with honorable discharges after four years active. He was in the Air Wing and was a technician that worked on guidance systems in missals. After he was discharged he met a girl (both of them were doing heroin) she had three kids from him and then he died. What a tragedy it was.

Did Kim have a drug problem. Song sounds like a confession if poetic. Cool tune.

MUNROWS RETRO

Another great band from the late 60's underground ... I saw this band live teamed up with Wishbone Ash in the summer of 1973 outdoors at a place known as Hard Rock Quarry !
