Savoy Brown is a British blues band formed in the 1960s, originally known as the Saveloy Brown Blues Band. Their 1969 single, Train to Nowhere (with singer Chris Youlden), was viewed by many as the last gasp of the blues scene in Great Britain. Although Savoy Brown never reached much acclaim in their home nation, they developed a loyal core following in the United States, where they promoted their albums with non-stop touring.
Lyrics:
Tolling bells are ringing,
and the shadows cast their spell.
Tolling bells are ringing,
and the shadows cast their spell.
I gotta, got a strange, strange feeling,
That something just ain't well.
Night is falling,
And my strength, it ebbs away.
Night is falling,
And my strength, it ebbs away.
I be-, I begin to wonder,
Is it the death angel,
Coming to carry me, to my grave?
Wonder what is wrong,
Wonder what can the trouble be?
Wonder what is wrong,
Wonder what can the trouble be?
I gotta a strange, strange feeling,
That the bell's tolling for me.

Night is falling,
And my strength, it ebbs away.
Night is falling,
And my strength, it ebbs away.
I wonder is it the death angel,
Coming to carry me to my grave?
Wonder what is wrong,
I wonder what is wrong with me?
Wonder what is wrong,
I wonder what is wrong with me?
I gotta, got a strange feeling,
That the bells, the bells, the bells,
Are ringin for me.
So sad, so sad now.
You ever wake up in the morning,
And you feel something just ain't right?
Your left side jumps,
And you gotta go..
Yeah...
