I have this song on My 40 Funky Hits record. K~Tel records put this out in the 1970's. Still have the 4 record set. I love it.

What's particlarly interesting here is how this track and Ray's performance sets the stage for his later classics like "Ahab The Arab," "Harry The Hairy Ape," "Gitarzan" and "Along Came Jones." The latter, of course, was his cover of a Coasters hit and it's obvious that the Coasters were a big influence on Ray as a songwriter and performer from the very beginning.
