If War Should Come by Public Service Broadcasting.

The first track from The War Room EP, If War Should Come sets the (sombre) scene for the approach of conflict on the continent.

J. Willgoose, Esq. and Wrigglesworth sample old public information films and archive material and set them to new music. Live, the films are screened simultaneously as laptops are fiddled with, drums are pounded, theremins are wafted at, guitars are bashed and banjos furiously plucked. Teaching the lessons of the past through the music of the future.

Saw PSB at the O2 academy in Bristol last April. Were Fantastic! I would recommend going to see them on the race for space tour if you are in Europe as they are going there next! Truly unique and fantastic music!

The Tape Ops remix of this is the only remix that really adds anything to the War Room - just putting the final line before the climax was an inspired change to a beautiful thing.

Oh dear Ken Walker, "yes I pretty much have done everything I can currently to remove myself from the machinery." Yet here you are posting on Youtube. LOLWhat a fool. We'll see how big a threat your government are when you're under attack from another hostile government.Stupid arsed tin foil hat conspirators.

No one in this country of ours wants warIf war should come, we shall not call a halt until the oppressor is beatenDemocracy will triumphPay no attention to rumoursAll have a vital part to playYou must be ready to obscure all lights in your houseAnd to extinguish all lights insideNobody in this country of ours wants warBut if war should come, don’t be alarmedKeep a good heartWhatever happens, Britain is a nation preparedI have to tell you now, this country is at war

Ken Walker...You have been quite rude in response to my, what I assure you are pertinent questions. You have asked me to reply to you and then blocked my access to comment. Can't we talk?

This really does do that thing: the music and the images go further than merely complement and fuse. They spark and create a third ground. It's brilliant.

Music that is needed in a time like this; a time of philosophical corruption running rampant through the minds of man.Thank you. I hope you continue this amazing work. Peace and freedom.-tony

When two persons approach the past to figure out the present, then, I have the impression that, maybe, the reading of history books wasn't an activity such useless like every conformist of each era struggled to suggest.

My maternal Grandparents lived in London. My Grandfather, whose day job was making precision optical instruments, spent his nights in a steel hut on top of a building in Fleet Street, as a Fire-Watcher. My Grandmother spent her nights as an ARP warden in the north of London. The terrible things they must have seen. And in the mornings, they went to work, or the shops, as usual, as if nothing out of the ordinary had happened. And thousands like them. A great generation. Yes, heroes.

I feel so proud of my grandparents generation every time I watch this. People talk about hero's but it's humbling to think that your dear old Gran or Grandad were hero's themselves in a way. Just by keeping calm and carrying on.
