One of my all-time favourite Procol songs, it never ceases to freak me out! Procol invented Gothic right here. I like to play it back-to-back, as the second track, with Skip Softly as the first and Repent Walpurgis (what else?) as the last. Thank you for posting this : it is a good alternative version.

I love a lot of Procol Harum's music but Home is my favorite album. Keith Reid the band's lyricist was asked about his state of mind at the time of writing the songs. He said he wasnt depressed at all haha

maybe this album is weird for many people because all it talks about is death, darkness and dying. I actually like the whole album, it shows the bands ability to deal with many things in their music and lyrics

I agree. This and DOA by Bloodrock were two of the all time scariest songs of my generation. (70's) Damn Creepy! Great composition

I have no clue how to respond to this song. I am not one for dark songs, yet this one is awesome. Most of Procol Harum's songs are dark. The one in only band I actually like that has dark music. I cannot stop playing this song on vinyl. Thanks. Cheers!

Just awful!...Sure am glad they scrapped this version of the song/video...the re-vamped arrangement on the studio Home album is FAR superior, & is one of my favourites...Procol Harum are the FIRST & ONLY real Goth band on the Planet. most "Goth bands just look gothic [white makeup, black duds] but the music is just 80's haircuts.....call it a momentary lapse of reason... [from a huge Procol fan]

when the album home came out i did not know what to think about it it was so different. now i think it is pretty awesome like most of their albums , but it took some getting used to.
