I'm afraid a video like this could NEVER be filmed today.None of the female singers are wearing a crash helmet or steel boots in the case of an emergency. Also the train could derail at anytime and the 3 singers would not be protected from serious injury or death. It is not something that should EVER be repeated unless a full health and safety assessment has been done. Also every foot of the railway line needs to be checked first before the train could set off and filming begin. It may seem a lot of time and effort but if something tragic did go wrong the singers and their families would sue the record company concerned for negligence and lack of a thorough Health And Safety check.

Brilliant song. Ridiculous setting with no relevance whatsoever but hey, the namby pamby health and safety brigade didn't figure back then and life was fun. I thank god for being a 60s kid!

Think it was 1969 and I was a projectionist at the Ritz in Wigan, I was 17 then. We did live shows every now and then, my job was the stage lighting. Had some big acts, Engelbert, Hermans, Amen Corner loads but Copper,Silver and Bronze will always stick in my mind. I was sat in the stallsin the afternoon looking at the lighting to make sure all was hunkydory and these three lovely girls sat down next to me and they could see I was nervous,I didnt know who they where and we just chatted, turns out they where more nervous than me but when they took the stage that night. WALLOP. What a performance. 2000 in the audience and they brought the house down. Loved them girls since then. But, here comes the best part. couple of years later and I am up Wigan with some mates and the Paper Dolls are on at the Casino in Wigan so I tell the lads that I know them, well they all poo pooed it but one lad came with me and what a night. Heard the girls sing again and went to the after show party at the Grand Hotel. Lovely girls. XXX

Saw them at Nantwich Civic Hall back in the 60's when I was a teenager. Those were great days to have been a teenager. Fell in love with the girls as most young lads did then. Where are you now girls I wonder. Oh well happy memories!

Wouldn't it be a bit more patriotic if they were being pulled along the Woodhead route by an EM1. Like the way they go into tunnel at the end. Immer ganz naturlich indeed!
