Where are all the great girl vocalists at??? Will there ever be another Barbara Harris, or Darlene Love?For that matter...the entire era of "Motown' is gone! What the hell happened to it all!?I grew up listening to "1440 WCHB...SOUL RADIO!!!" in Detroit and "WKNR...THE MOTOR CITY!" (this was when, if you did it quietly, you sneak into Cobo Hall and listen to 'stage rehearsals'...and I saw and heard ALL the greats from the Sixties!)********What happened to 'rock 'n roll?' Why are there no more 'real bands w/real guitars and real singers w/real songs?' Why is it all in the past? Where are the 'new Beatles' and 'new Beach Boys?' ( David Crosby has some answers...but, there must be real talent out there somewhere! After all, there's still money to be made from promotion)
