One of the greatest live performances of ANY band EVER. This whole concert was top shelf and showed a band at the top of their game in every aspect. I watched this live in 85 (yes I'm an old fart!) and it blew me away. I taped it as it was simulcast on JJJ and for years after that cassette was my best friend. Some of these songs are just blistering observations of the inequalities that still exist in Australia today. Saw them many times live and they never failed to deliver. A great time to be young and alive in OZ.

What a song, what a band, what a time! Oils at their finest and nearly 30 years on they still set a benchmark in creative parts in songs that just rock. Not sure the chicks ever really got it but it certainly was fuel for all the boys!

this is the hottest concert of all time ... I know .. I was there !!!! 200 winners of Triple Jay Competition.... they didn't know what they had won..... a personal concert form Australias mighty Midnight Oil .. no wonder Peter Garret dances like a dervish ... how can u not ... even Rob Hirst the drummer manages to pull off wearing a pink boiler suit .. lol !!!
