Political opportunist and sellout. Can barely listen to any of his music now. A cautionary tale, children- true colours are revealed once in a position of power.

What an awesome band - massive fan - first picked up the music in 1982 when a mate gave me a TDK AD90 tape and said if you like Men at Work these guys will blow you away and they did .In 1997 I bumped him on my 2nd night in Australia in Sydney on my first visit in an Indian takeaway in Ashfield .. he waited whilst I ran to mates flat and picked up the camera and video . she could not believe I met him ! nor my Aussie mates working in London when I sent the postcards! Talk about making your holiday..What a lovely man - a very tall one at that.. I read the very many comments about Peter selling out ??? most fans will recognize the efforts he made to highlight global injustice, greed and be a voice to the underdogs in Australia and the world- what a great Australian and human being..Come back to London - have only seen you 9 times..

yes it is. However what I think the oils pertain to it as to say that America symbolized in the naiveté or ignorance dabbles with the nukes -- therefore took a plutonium for a wife- or about the buzz that it's the US govt that sold the same armaments to middle eastern forces themselves, perhaps in exchange for -- what else, the oil supply

"Superboy takes a doty young wife..." quite Australia's equivalent to irish laddies U2, whereas The Alarm is Briatin's equal ... though both great bands mentioned never received as much recognition as U2, all damn good live bands they are, amen.

It was double J back then.

You sure about that? According to Wikipedia, Triple J only existed within Sydney from 1975 to the late 1980s, and only within capital cities for a while after that.
