Anyone who sings this song should always pay tribute to Rosie, he created the arrangement and made the song what it became. Greatest tenor ever in gospel music IMHO! We miss you Rosie!

I believe Lady Marine is correct, His side was "riven." and here all these years I have been singing it "His "sight" was driven.....lol Thanks for the correction Lady Marine, have a blessed day!

The recording I like best with Rosie singing "O What A Savior" is the 1982 album called "O What A Savior." He recorded it with The Masters Five. You can find it in iTunes, type in "Southern Gospel Heritage Series and you'll see "O What A Savior," I highly recommend it. Rosie's style & how he sang it with such feeling has won me over! What a fantastic song that describes our Lord and what he went through for us.

Oh, that the oceans were tears and my eyes were their fountains though they never cease to flow, naught of time or eternity could tell the least of my love for Him, my precious savior. Indeed; O What a Savior...! BTW, who is Rozie?

Southern Gospel has always had really good tenors; this is such a case.

I've seen this classic video a thousand times. The great Rosie at his absolute finest. But underrated is the piece of fence on its side. I'm guessing Big Chief kicked it down just for the heck of it. ;-)

Rosie, brought the Blues to Gospel music , with perfect breathing control and a great Tenor God given voice. No one will ever sing this song quite like Rosie.
