"To Cry About" is the first title from Mary Margaret O'Hara's 1988 debut album, "Miss America." Despite having written "hundreds" of songs, and other than her 1991 Christmas EP, and the soundtrack for the 2000 film "Apartment Hunting," "Miss America" remains the only LP O'Hara released. The album debuted to critical acclaim, and some now say it is one of the best rock/pop albums of the 20th Century. In 2010 "The Guardian" said her "wonderful vocals," as "devastatingly delicate as shattering glass," are rarely heard now, leaving her "one of modern music's most mysterious creatures."

I appreciate your comment, Aidan. I own all your aunt's albums (some in tape, some CD), and I love her work. Some friends had never heard of her before, so I shared this song because I think it really epitomizes her sound. Given her music is so low profile these days I felt it would help her by sharing some of her music. If your aunt is offended and wants the clip removed of course I will. Best regards.

Don't Thank each other thank my aunt, My name is Aidan O'hara i'm her nephew. Help her out instead of just meaninglessly posting her music on youtube. She barely has any idea how to even use youtube.

Words cannot express how much I love this song. It's ethereal, haunting, heartbreaking, and emotional. We need real artists like Mary Margaret O'Hara in today's music and not some phony product for the big commercial music industry.
