With Episode 8 we honor an artist that burst on the early 80's rock scene with incredible songs and a truly unique sound. Billy Squier spent the 70's cutting his teeth & Berkley and playing in numerous bands in and around the Boston area. His solo material in the next decade made him a household name. His second album, Don't Say No, was a triple platinum smash that included the mega hit "The Stroke". LLB picked a few of our favorite tunes, each displaying what we believe is the cornerstone to his sound - straight ahead rock and roll with a touch of soul. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do! As always, thanks for listening - LLB

Been going thru all your vids. Wow, I loved this one when I was in my early 20's ... early 80's. You guys do a great job with it.. Lead Singer really has it going on.

I know that every video I've just watched is "your best ever," but this one is right up there. Tight, faithful to the original, breathing with life of your own... and did I mention tight? And Dale, the riffs you lay down on this one demonstrate (as if there was any question) that you give the "good parts" to your guest guitarists out of fraternal joy of shared music, and not because they play things you can't. Keep it up. Just wish I could have seen your live show -- unfortunately I'm out on the other end of the country...

I really like your teaching style along with your playing ability. Any thought of doing Tommy Emanuel's "Guitar Boogie"?
