With Episode 9 we honor Journey! The original members of Journey came together in San Francisco in 1973. Journey released their eponymous first album in 1975, Their fourth album, Infinity (1978) reached No. 21 on the album charts and gave the band their first RIAA-certified platinum single, "Lights". Their eighth and biggest-selling studio album, Escape, in 1981. The album, which would ultimately sell nine times platinum, went to number one on the album charts that year. Journey's next album, 1983's Frontiers, continued their commercial success, reaching No. 2 on the album charts and included "Separate Ways.” As always, thanks for listening – LLB.

Ever think of doing a c.d of cover tunes. Steely Dan doobie brothers and journey are some of my favorits. everything the L.L.B. does is great. Man it would be cool to listen to on the drive to work. I have the feeling what ever you do sounds great.

You guys are great, everyone of you. Love the detail you play in all these covers. All the guitar work is awesome, but gotta give props to the player on the DGT... that solo was spot on!

Dear Dale, once again I'm blown away by your music: perfectly played, perfectly recorded, perfect sound. Please give my regards to the rest of the Lexington Lab Band, particularly to your son Tyler! He is one "hell" of a drummer!! Your friend Gary

You guys really nailed this cover. Steve Perry is a tough guy to emulate, but you guys made the vocals your own and it works!
