We are so very excited to release our 3rd Episode and in doing so honor a band that was at the forefront of merging 1970s guitar-oriented rock with the early 1980s synth-oriented pop, The Cars. From the demo of "Just What I Needed" in 1977, to their smash album "Heartbreak City" in 1984, Singer/guitarist Ric Ocasek, singer/bassist Benjamin Orr, guitarist Elliot Easton, keyboardist Greg Hawkes and drummer David Robinson helped redefine the genres of rock and pop music creating songs that were both intricate musically and incredibly accessible to the listening masses. We are thrilled and humbled to have been able to dive into these 5 songs and learn from these masters of songwriting and production. Our hope is that you can enjoy these songs half as much as we have! In the words of their hit from the album Candy-O "Let's Go"!

I have such a hatred for Corporations, because of what they have done ( not all of em ) in the last 35 years in particular, I would much rather listen to bands like this than anything the "machine" puts out. You guys are awesome ! Put out a CD of a bunch of this stuff, I will buy some and give some away.

I used to live in Puerto Rico when I was a young man, we had met these beautiful girls on the beach and they invited us to their parent's resort condo for drinks and dancing later that night, my friend and I went and I personally had the best night of my life as we stayed up all night just dancing and laughing and drinking at this beautiful beachfront resort, when we went to leave at about 5 am, I jumped in my car, turned the key and this song was playing, every single time I hear this song it takes me back to that very moment...you guys did an awesome job, as usual! - - -Jim

I've come to expect stellar musicianship from you guys so i'm going to comment on the vocals. You knocked this one out of the park. The lead and backing vocals are as good as it gets. I would like to see you guys live. Kick ASS!!!!

Definitely, the best Cars cover so far from ToneDr. The synthesizer recreation of the original tones is phenomenal.
