Remake of a 1954 hit for the following artists: #3 for Doris Day with the Mellomen in September 1954 (#4 UK), #3 for Joan Regan on the UK Singles chart in October 1954, #8 for Denise Lor in Billboard in September 1954, and #10 for Connee Boswell in September 1954. Later, it was #10 on the Country chart for Margo Smith in 1979.
Original Billboard review of the single: "Miss Kallen has her strongest side in some time. She reads the pretty oldie wistfully over fine ork and chorus backing. It's a tasteful and attractive side that can move well."
Written by Jimmy Brewster, Jimmie Crane and Al Jacobs.
B-side of the single is "The Door That Won't Open". Pictured is an album which was named after the single.

So beautiful and sweet! I always loved this song from the '50s and recently heard it once again on a local Oldies But Goodies Radio Station here in Boston, WJIB 740 AM. (My favorite radio station!) It's a real pleasure to hear it on You Tube. I see that Kitty Kallen's songs were popular all over the globe from the postings I see here.
