This beautiful song takes me back to 1954. I was a boarding high school student in Winnipeg, Canada, away from home in Cali, Colombia and my girlfriend. Music to dream and always remember ! To me Kitty Kallen's is the best.

Kitty Kallen was was of my favorite singers of ballads in the '50's when I was in high school and college. I remember sitting in the cafeteria - snack bar as a student at the University of Maryland (Go Terps!) listening to and playing recordings of her songs. A fond memory. And she is still alive and doing well, as far as I know.
