KISS performing "Ladies Room" at the Budokan, Tokyo, Japan, during the evening performance on 2 April 1977. With its heavy mix and guitars, this is regarded by many fans as the "real" KISS Alive II.

Just to clarify for those people who have never heard of the KISS bootleg album, "Lost Alive II", this is NOT, I repeat NOT, from KISS Alive II, nor from the Alive II Tour. This is from the Rock and Roll Over Tour. This concert recording was recorded by Eddie Kramer for the next live KISS album, but was shelved. It is known as "Lost Alive II".

Way better mix indeed, while drums are a little bit too far on the low end, the guitars totally make up for it.

Gene Simmons - screwing up the lyrics to songs that he wrote since 1973.

they should've used it and side four wouldn't have been studio fill in's, either Love Gun or Dynasty could've been a little better

One more thing: I think it should be a law that Watchin' You and Rock Bottom get played every KISS show.

It sounds great! I think perhaps the crowd noises were enhanced. That's the one weird thing about that Budokan show: the Japanese audiences are tame compared to American audiences. Not nearly as much screaming and mayhem. Whatever the case, I wish this would have been released. The mix is terrific. I'll never understand why Alive II was only 3 sides live. Why not just do a complete live double album? Too many great songs got left out like Take Me and Do You Love Me.

I have the audio version of Lost Alive II as well and this is the same. The video is the same, but it is a different audio to what is on KISSology 1. Maybe this is the audio mix/edit made by Eddie Kramer that was supposed to be Alive II, but was ultimately shelved. I am not sure, but will try and find out.

Gene's vocals sound like they were overdubbed. You can see his head moving around but no change in his voice.
