KISS performing the classic "Cold Gin" at the Budokan, Tokyo, Japan, during the evening performance on 2 April 1977. For the Rock & Roll Over Tour, Cold Gin was used for Ace's solo spot. The "official" Alive II was recorded a few months later following the release of "Love Gun" which included Ace's first vocal performance on "Shock Me" and also his epic lead guitar solo.

Just to clarify for those people who have never heard of the KISS bootleg album, "Lost Alive II", this is NOT, I repeat NOT, from KISS Alive II, nor from the Alive II Tour. This is from the Rock and Roll Over Tour. This concert recording was recorded by Eddie Kramer for the next live KISS album, but was shelved. It is known as "Lost Alive II".

This is awesome but it's also incomplete. The solo is cut right where the octave effect is applied & the entire smoking guitar & switching back to the 3-pickup cherry sunburst is missing.

@EricCarr5091 Rockin' in the USA was awsome...Any Way you want it was so so as far as I'm concerned.

@Kewln00b True. We kinda lucked in though because that's why they filled the album with the 5 studio tracks on side 4. IMO, they were some of the best tracks from the mid-70s KISS era. Not that keen on Rockin' In The USA, but All American Man, Larger Than Life, Rocket Ride, and Any Way You Want It are excellent.

For the Alive 2 album they didn't want songs from the first alive on that album.
