John Entwistle is rather underrated as a song writer.

The Ox's songs are fueled with mind blowing Bass lines and humorous lyrics.

An when John isn't tickling you're funny bone.

His writing skills give you that no nonsense approach to them.

I know when I listen to my Who albums, I can't wait for John's number.

Back On The Road is the closest thing the Ox's gives you

in the way of a ballad. Apart from the occasional others.

This is a lovely but poignant track from John's solo catalogue.

So I hope you Enjoy my video of the brilliant man, John Entwistle.

We all LOVE him!

There is a version of this song with Keith Moon playing the drums. Maybe one day Roger and Pete, will finish it.

The place leaved by John is simply an irreplaceable empty. He have opened many and many doors in Music and on and for the Bass. He was generous, a sharp sens of humour, always here in the hard ways of life, a sens of fidelity in relationships. He was a real Human. Miss you John.

John would have been 68 today. beautiful tribute to a beautiful musician. He influences still so many, and I love the bass guitar because of him.

Very, Very well put together video. And I second your naritive...would always look forward to John's wriiting contributions on WHO lps. WHEN I WAS A BOY is my favorites although I don't believe it was ever an official lp release. Smash Your Head has to be my fav solo LP. John's writting is beautiful and unique in structure.
