From Brady Theater, Tulsa, Oklahoma, December 11th, 1993.

John Denver was singing "Aspenglow". It's always my favorite Christmas song.

The video was added subtitles by myself.

Merry Christmas everybody!

The subtitles are wrong. For the same video with correct subtitles, please visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5JxNZ0Bx6bQ.

Stormy Day

Gorgeous. He had a voice that rang like a bell. So pure, so beautiful. I remember seeing him at USC Campus Columbia, SC in 1978. When he did Annie's song (all by himself like he did here), where he stops and then sings ... "like a sleepy blue ocean," you could hear a pin drop in the audience. Life-changing moment. I have never heard anything so beautiful ... till this. thank you. I hope they find more of these because he was an absolute treasure. Pains me that he is gone.

I so love this song. The lyrics and melody are so calming and stress relieving. Still miss this artist. And I am glad these videos are around. Winterskol everyone!

@March1953 JD actually wrote the song as part of the Winterskol festival. It came in second, to the best of my memory!

Thanks for this rare live version of this beautiful Christmas/winter song! I believe instead of "winters gold" in the subtitle, it should be "winterskol". Winterskol is a festival held in the Aspen area each January. Thanks, again.
