When I was 12, I came to know John Denver. His music and lyrics comforted me through difficult times of pain and feeling alone. My father left us in 1974 leaving my mother caring for myself, my sister, and two brothers. I found peace listening to JD and eventually learned how to play the guitar which gave me confidence and enjoyment. Aspenglow is one of my favorite songs and your arrangement was amazing. Thank you for sharing this.

Wonderful song that brings back beautiful memories … the Christmas Special is now available on youtube although the quality of the video is not very good. Can't understand why the special wasn't released in dvd format. It was one of the most watched television specials of all time.

Hi Jordan, the other vrrsion is on The Rocky Mountain collection released by RCA a double CD package here in UK. The version is slightly different with added clarenet

Actually this is John Denver. I ripped this from his album "Rocky Mountain Christmas"...maybe he has more than one version of this song?

I actually thought this was John Denver till I noticed the Clarinet missing in the intro etc and the music sounds like a midi file instead of musicians. Who ever is singing this is an excellent singer and take off of JD. The reverb is perfect too. Does anyone know the PA/mixer settings for this? Cheers
