When I heard this song for the first time, I thought to myself: "Where have you been all my life, Music?"

@lovewisely I´m not surprised at all. In a world after 10 000 years of so called human civilization and culture homo sapiens is still fighting wars, discriminataing minorities, exploiting & poluting the environment, exterminating other species...........stuffing billions of $ up those wall street whores asses, and Lady Gaga being the biggest musical thing on this planet. As Albert Einstein once said: only two things are endless: one is the universe the other human stupidity

John Cale's "Paris 1919", which I often cite as my favorite album of all time, is being performed live twice this fall. Again. And once again, I can't make either show. If we weren't trying to ship a game, I'd go to Malmo, Sweden to see it done in November...I should've taken the opportunity to see it done at UCLA last year. I was a fool not to.If you don't know this record, you're missing out. John Cale, avant-garde composer/violist/singer formerly of the Velvet Underground, teamed up with most of the members of roots rock outfit Little Feat to do a truly amazing pop album, with lyrics steeped in history and literature, and a unique sound that occasionally meshes a full orchestra with the bluesy slide guitar of Lowell George.Precious few albums are perfect. This one is as close as they get.
