yeah...sure...cobain and grohl introduced the world to punk...psshtthey were playing much more hardcore punk with deeper meaning and real punkrock undertones on Rodney Bingenheimer, Jim "the Poor Man", KROQ early to mid-80's before the world ever heard of Bill Clinton, not this "thrash", "poser-punk", "cross-over" genre, mainstream hardcore that's on the rotation today.
