Kelvin.. You're mistaken. I WATCHED him play and nearly get booed off the stage in NYC in an outside west side downtown pier concert. He was solo acoustic prior to Kurtis Blow (who also got damn near thrown off the stage). Kurtis Blow, who somehow was was tapped by The Clash to open up for them, had no idea what he was walking into. This was late '80s (c. 1986?) PBS

Graham Parker never did Stairway to Heaven. It must have been somebody else you're thinking of. If you're looking for a really good cover of that song, search Graham Gillot Band. If anyone does know any rare tracks by Graham Parker please give a search reference.

He is one fearless rhythm & blues /soul singer. Most any cover he does w/ The Rumour just takes the original to another level; Trammps, Jackson 5, Howlin' Wolf whatever. The only one he ever did that was kind of a head-scratcher was seeing him do an acoustic version of Stairway to Heaven. I love him to death but that did NOT fly. Live in Philly and NYC 30 Nov - 1 Dec coming up!!! Cannot wait.

I agree. Very underrated. Loved the first album.

When he covers something, it's a completely different song, isn't it? Listen to I Want You Back.

Groovy. I love the Trammps version, but this one has its own thing going on.

Just saw a great cover of this song, and believe it or not Heston Blumenthal was playing bass. If its not him, he must have a double. To watch Type Hold back the night 5150
