Fantastic far-out maniacal performance. Graham never sold-out but that means little if you don't write great songs and have a great band. Andrew Bodner was light years ahead of his time or flown back a year in time from some discotheque.

Great song. Andrew Bodnar is IN the show and enjoying the hell out of it.

I like older EC stuff, but the guy could not play live well or keep songs in time. Graham parker can sit down with just a guitar and make it sound good.

GP was an angry soul singer but NEVER as whiny as E.Costello. I've seen him in the smallest venues and he is crazy good. Elvis got his ass kicked by Chrissie Hynde for dissing Ray Charles..classless fucking idiot at the time.

This is what happens when little pieces of perfection come together. Graham is one of the best singer/songwriter/performers ever. And, the Rumour fit together like a glove. I cannot get it through my head why such inferior bands become huge and these guys were never given a tiny bit of credit they deserve.

Great post of a great band. Saw them several times 76-79 including Reading 77, where also on the bill were Thin Lizzy and SAHB- probably three of the best live bands you could ever wish to see.
