Otra de mis debilidades. Uno de esos grandes grandísimos que juegan en la segunda división. Passion Is No Ordinary Word.

They performed at Reading 1977. I was there, long-haired teenager stoned like an Egyptian whore. Fond if vague memories.

I'd say "this is 40 " brought me here, but that would be a lie. I've always love graham Parker!

Great song & lyrics. But the studio version from heat treatment is even better.

Had he been 6 foot and looked like a Hollywood star he would have gone mega. He had everything else.

Thanks for posting. Love the comments from people who still love Graham Parker. I bought Squeezing Out Sparks and his The Up Escalator back when they came up. There is some other earlier stuff that's also great (including the songs Fools Gold and Mercury Poisoning)

Around this time, I read an article in Rolling Stone in which Springsteen stated Parker was the only live act he would pay money to see. That was the reason I bought Graham's first two albums. Boy, was Bruce right.

Great tour! I saw them in Santa Monica, CA and was blown away. Actually left the venue after GP & The Rumour finished. I was spent!
