This song was an unexpected highlight at Gilbert`s recent Royal Albert Hall concert . Gilbert sat on a stool and told us the idea behind the song - about feeling afraid by falling in love for the first time and how it suddenly changes your life .Some people in the audience may have thought it was a new song , but it was actually released on the album EVERY SONG HAS ITS PLAY back in 1995 ( This is that recording ). It was a memorable part of the concert and this is just an attempt to re-create that moment !
Here`s what Gilbert said in a recent interview -
" When I played `Can`t find my way home ` in the Albert Hall , people came up afterwards to see where they could find it . I told them it was from an album in 1995 that about 10 people bought - it got a few more sales then ! "

DONE and happy to do so. the only thing better that a NYC concert would be one at SARATOGA PERFORMING ARTS CENTER located in the southern Adirondack Mts.but the 9/11 connection would be beautiful. Hi Mimi - On the subject of Gilbert performing in America - he announced last year two concerts in New York that were supposed to happen in the fall of 2012 ( this was before your problems with hurricane sandy ) but they were postponed until ` Spring 2013 ` . We have heard nothing more this year so far , but maybe it`s still a possibility . I would love for you to see him - you would not be dissappointed ! How can we get him to the States for a concert?? Until then,I'm enjoying my own private concerts via youtube!! After Alone Again and Clair we missed out on alot of beautiful songs that you all enjoyed in Europe.
