I bought this when it first came out. I had to order it on cd. I still don't care for the drum machine on the whole album but it's still a classic album for me.

I just needed to comment that the story behind this song is amazing! although i dont remember all of the details (it has been a long time since i had heard/read the story), i read about this on "rare sky" an album that my father owned before he passed away. Not sure where the album went, it was on vinyl and must have been worth something an auctioned off when he passed to pay debts... i may not get it completely right or spell the names correctly, forgive me: mr pulumbo (singer) was in an airport and approached by a man who was obviously tired and upset. They had gotten into a conversation about (according to the man) a secret government project called the greenhouse that had to do with a south american deep cover cia mission. the man told mr. pulumbo that he had been involved state side and had gotten a call "from the greenhouse" meaning that the project had went sideways and the man was on the run. if i remember correctly, mr. pulumbo had tried to get in touch with the man's family afterward and discovered that he was mentally ill but had been missing, later to be found murdered... strange story and a wild adventure i'm sure! i saw crack the sky with my dad at a festival when i was a teen, in maryland at the fair grounds. crack the sky was a major influence to my dad and his band had done covers of their songs when i was young so i love crack the sky! these songs remind me of dad :) if anyone can find "rare sky" and post it i would really appreciate it, i'd like to find a song called "last time" on that album... contact me on facebook: Shawn Schanberger in baltimore MD or on my email [email protected] thanks

The problem with this band is the period . Pink Floyd is CLASSIC so you can't compare them . But this was at a time when "grunge", Rap, "boy bands" , "Emo". Were coming out . So a classic rock style wasn't "in" but REAL music fans find the TREASURES .

Best song of all time. They should have been much bigger then they got. Should be as famous as Pink Floyd, Stones, Ect.... the younger kids here it now and love it!!!!!! promote your music!!!!!!!!!!
