One of the best Buzzcocks songs in my opinion....Ignore the guy introducing them on TOTP. Ooooh ooooh now then, now then.

The crowd is so lifeless and the very definition of tepid. Growing up in the frontier of Northern Michigan, amid miners and lumberjacks, nothing inspired me more on my drive to school than the Buzzcocks. I wish there existed a clean and re-mastered Boredom track. The track I have sounds bleached.

If Steve had stuck to the best guitar licks in the business, and Pete had kept writing masterpieces, and they hadn't have got through so many bass players, and John hadn't gone to fix German cars and they hadn't dropped so much gear, the Buzzcocks would taken their rightful place as in the rock and roll pantheon. Instead they became everyone else's music DNA for next thirty years. Strange world.
