I was a huge fan of cheap trick only really because of Bun E. Since the have essentially dumped him out in the cold, to hell with them. This guy rocks.

Bring back Bun E--Cheap Trick is unwise for neglecting him, even arrogant.

whenever I have to listen to other "pro" musicians talk about the finer points of drummers such as Neil Pert and so forth, I like to bring up Bun E. Carlos... they typically look at me like I don't understand... the irony is always enjoyable.

I know the guy personally Bun E (Rick) and no, he doesnt smoke anymore. He quit and quitting is a bitch.

He doesn't smoke anymore. And, he doesn't need a cigarette to make him famous.

+jimmyblues15 Its the intro to the Cheap Trick cover of "Ain't That a Shame". Its similar to Ringo Starr's solo on "The End" by the Beatles.

Where's the cigarette? Fucking PC bullshit, the man is famous for never having one out of his mouth, it made him the drummer he is..

HE wears them. So that makes it cool.

My gos what a bore. Just shows that the point of drumming is to accompany the melody, and not lead.

That first thing he does in the intro, what song is that from? Is it a Cheap Trick song? It sounds familiar but I have no idea what it is
