This has always been my fav Hornsby song & it sounds pretty good here even though it's stripped way down. Most people seem to think it's either about social issues or people living in rural America. In reality it's about the plight of the environment & how we all need to open our eyes to what's going on when it comes to corporations polluting the environment and mindless land development from "The fat cat builder man". I luv the verse:There's a man workin' in a fieldSee's the rain and it's burningHe's saying this can't be realOh as he sees the color of the fields turningFar away men too busy getting rich to careClose their eyes, let it all out into the airHoping nobody else would careLook out any windowLook out any open doorLook out any windowSee what's going on in the world around you

Bruce Hornsby had it all removed. I had a lot of them bookmarked but sadly the links are all as dead as his career. Already owned the albums just liked looking at the clips. Dick move Bruce.

It's great to hear a solo version of this song. The lyrics are a lot more powerful this way. Love it.
