five days in may was my daddys fav song. he passed a couple yrs back. it hurts me so much but also makes me happy when i hear this. if that makes any sense at all...i love this song but it also hurts my heart when i hear it. i will continue to listen to this n remember my father until the day i am reunited with him

This was one of the first songs I heard when I moved to Canada in 1994, brings back great memories everytime I hear it. From Spirit of the West to Great Big Sea I have embraced the richness that is Canadian, especially the music. :)
