He wasn't given the info apparently. What happened was Joe Tansin contacted Tom Evans and Joey Molland about getting the band back together, and they used Tansin as a guitarist. Gibbons auditioned to be on this record but he was turned down; a pants-on-head-retarded move.

Tommy Evans & Joey Molland with Joe Tansin were a great band. It's still BADFINGER and it is still a great band. So check out Joe Tansin's new song here on YOUTube "The Last Ride" It'll break yer heart mates. AIRWAVES & Say No More were two really great BADFINGER cd/Records. Go search them out.
