My favorite Badfinger song. Always makes me feel better when I'm down.

rock and roll is full of great tragedies, but I have to mention Lynyrd Skynyrd-most rock tragedies involve people who are the cause of their own problems, drugs, women, guns, fast cars-even these guys-but I give 'em a break because they just got beat down by the biz- but Skynyrd wasnt in the pilots seat-

Not the best camerawork in the world: poor angles, no closeups, no zooming in on Joey Molland for his guitar solo (such as it was). One thing I took out of the performance, however, was the reminder that as great a singer as Pete Ham was, there were other fine voices in the band, too.

Oh, you shouldn't put an audience through that much misery.

Airwaves-so under-rated.Listen to the studio version of Come Down Hard-GREAT!

@sunmarsjupiter I think that was more Kathie's influence. I'm sorry she died, but you have to question how the band had more inner conflicts to deal with once she came along.

..with Tony Kaye of Yes, how cool. Shocking to me how the Airwaves and Say No More LPs also failed for Badfinger, after Ham-era masterpiece Wish You Were Here. The songs are as great and accessible as anyone could ever wish for.

@kringles4: I agree! Badfinger was robbed of their fame!

Something was lost when Pete Ham died. It was still great music, but it just didn't give you the goosebumps or send chills down your spine the way the classic era.

joey molland is a bit dull. doesn't deserve to be in the spotlight after the way he treated Pete Ham and Tom Evans.

I wonder why the talented Joe Tansin, who played on Airwaves, isn't in this clip!
