Greetings Bird friends! We are surviving the winter just fine over here at HQ. Our winter boots have had a workout but are carrying us through in style.Today we announce the summer's first slew of shows, both large and small...Andrew will be touring with a band he's calling the Hands of Glory - an old timey acoustic configuration featuring Tift Merritt, Alan Hampton, and Eric Heywood on pedal steel. They'll be bringing the huddled around one microphone approach to the summer shows, including ...*BONNAROO!* One of the most enjoyable festivals we've ever come across, Andrew and the Hands of Glory will make a 3rd appearance this year at the farm in Tennessee. Additionally, we're rescheduling the long cancelled Asheville show at the Orange Peel, returning to one of Andrew's favorite indoor venues, Chautauqua Auditorium in Boulder, CO, and playing shows here there and everywhere. This is just the first announcement of North American summer shows, so if you don't see your city listed, there are more coming and to be announced in the coming weeks (east and west coast, I'm talking about you). See below for dates and ticketing info, presale starts today, general onsales begin on 2/22.Meanwhile, Andrew has playing a lot o Handsome Family covers in his livingroom, expect to hear more of those later this year ...And I leave you with this vintage clip from Bonnaroo 2006. See ya on the farm!
