OK. I have always enjoyed your music to the mind's eye, rather than in a literal video. So much more left to the imagination....anyways, enjoyed the show here in LA a few weeks ago and this album was my virtual soundtrack to my recent trip to Georgia, the country. It actually does. The song is about receiving appreciation for something you do, but some (if not most) of the times people don't see the effort behind the act. We often do things for someone just because it makes us happy to do so and they're taken for granted. Nothing is free and everything has a price. Equal trade. The parents couldn't appreciate but the children did eventually.10 years ago

Awww, this video is so sad, and the kids are greedy at first, but then the candy man gives away his life and then the kids finally realize that the candy man is their friend. So, then the children give back the candy into the candy man, and finally, they put back his heart, that starts beating again. He comes back to life, and everybody is happy again.
