This was to be the last year of performing due to Layne's addiction and this had to be a rough time for the band. Jerry felt a lot of pain and this was his best friend and part of the band that would not go on till 1996 in appearances,concerts. Jerry wrote most the great lyrics that were for Layne's pain that made the greatest songs for vocal genius owned by Layne.Imagine what this band felt and endured hoping Layne would always be with them,and not performing 3 yrs, rough, long,sad waiting..
