Jimi Hendrix, "Manic Depression" guitar lesson. Today we're using the MXR Classic 108 Fuzz for a vintage fuzz face tone. This riff starts with a few curve balls, a tuning half a step down and a 3/4 time signature. Setting the MXR Classic 108 Fuzz to near maximum and cleaning up with the guitar's volume allows you to gracefully morph from a heavy intro to a cleaner verse and back into the sustaining solo. Manic Depression also uses sliding notes rather than an arpeggio to play the main riff, which contributes to this tune's swinging feel. Enjoy your daily guitar lesson!

DON'T buy boutique pedals. Waste of money when you can get pedals that are just as good for less. Look at the hardwire SC-2, MXR custom badass 78 distortion, or even a RAT. All of those can be found for less than 100 bucks and sound amazing11 years назад
