The Beatles, "Dig A Pony" guitar lesson. Next we're using the Wampler Paisley Drive and a Telecaster to get George Harrison's live tone from their final concert on the rooftop. The Paisley Drive lends subtle compression, breakup and midrange control to our clean Fender Deluxe Reverb. Dig A Pony uses a 3/4 time signature and starts off with a gliding riff from G to D and ends with a bit of country in A. In the verse, Harrison fills the gaps with some choice licks in G while the chorus makes another use of the addictive intro pattern. Enjoy your daily guitar lesson.

a lot of lessons don't cover all of the very specific details, but this is the best on YouTube!

I did learn a lot, especially the extra notes (I'm assuming George's part) between the main riffs. Good stuff!

You have an excellent rapport with the guitar; teaching stylized at a level benefiting both beginning and intermediate guitarists. Many of us only dreamed of learning riffs and licks such as this and your tutorial now makes it possible. Thanks a million.

It seems to me that after listening to the acapella vocal break where they sing the word "because" which is followed by the drum intro to the next verse, that the song is in 6/8 time with that part played in 7/8. It seems to fit when I program a metronome. What do you think?

what a GREAT job!! I really learned a lot from what notes you played - but also how you played them - staying in the chord shape to play the hammer ons - very clean and effecient

Well done. I hate listening to a guitar player mumble technical gobbledygoop, while I just want to see it played.

I'm sure you understand that the prupose of this video is to advertise a pedal they sell. Proguitarshop are, well, a shop ! They would not pay a guy to give free guitar lessons to strangers if it wasn't for advertising their products.
