Here`s two of my favourite B Sides from the album THE OTHER SIDES OF GILBERT O`SULLIVAN . This CD features most of the B Sides from Gilbert`s vinyl singles from the Seventies and Eighties that didn`t appear on his studio albums . A VERY EXTRAORDINARY SORT OF GIRL was the B Side of GET DOWN in 1973 and YOU DON`T HAVE TO TELL ME was the flip-side of WHY, OH WHY, OH WHY in 1973 ( Although in different countries the B Sides varied and were sometimes used more than once ) . We also have some great rare pictures here recalling Gilberts days as a pin-up ! You can see why the girls went crazy for him in those days !

@navredTraav Yes many of the B- sides varied around the world - not always paired with the same A-sides . I was never too fond of ` Susan Van Heusen` , I think ` You don`t have to tell me ` is far superior .14 years назад

@212wakka Thanks Andy - many of the newer fans I`ve spoken to have been very suprised by the wide variety of material Gilbert has written, being familiar with only the `hits` that most people know. That`s really what I`m trying to get across on the channel - plus the fact that he`s STILL doing it !15 years назад

Well there is a reason why it is B side songs cause not his best work. I wonder is it allowed for other artists to sing Gilberts songs? I guess they have to ask him first or some from the crowd behind him.15 years назад

It`s my favourite too - That OTHER SIDES album is a great release for Gilbert collectors otherwise those tracks wouldn`t be available ( except on the original vinyl singles - if you can track them down ! )Похожие клипы
