I just listened to this song again and to the work of Eddie Kramer. I was lucky enough to see Jimi perform live, Now looking back accept for The Band of Gypsies who could perform their music live, Kramer did a great job, but the Experience could never reproduce live the beauty created on the albums. There is no tie in at the time, apparently with the technology..
